Hey Ya'll! I'm Coming Home!!
The West Virginia Charleston Mission will forever be my second home. There will always be a place in my heart for the hollows of Kentucky, the hills and rivers of West Virginia, and the beautiful Virginia sky. What a privilege it has been to serve and love the people in the WVCM. They will always be my family and friends.
I will always be grateful for every opportunity to serve. Being a full-time missionary hasn't been the easiest thing, but it has been the best and most rewarding time of my life. Representing my Savior has been beyond humbling. There is nothing that makes me happier than serving others. As I serve I come to know who God is. As I come to know who my Father in Heaven is I begin to feel his love. As I begin to feel His love I come to know who I am and what my personal worth is. I have learned that to serve is to love and to know.
I know with all my heart that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Kingdom of God on the Earth. The atonement of Jesus Christ, when accepted and applied, changes lives. It has changed my life.
I will miss no longer being a full-time missionary. Because I know my purpose in life it is more sweet than bitter.
I promise all of you, my family and friends, to be faithful to my covenants. Though in a different way, I will still be a missionary.
Mom and Dad, I'm coming home!
With Love and Anticipation,
Elder Levi Mackelprang
